Although eventually remembering all of the block colors, forgetting them can cause difficulties and having to either load the Blocks world or looking it up on the forums. Could a 'this' block option be placed into commands like /replace? For example, using "/replace air this" would replace all the empty space you selected and replace it with the block you have held.
Sorry if this has been suggested/is possible, just an idea
"This" Block
"This" Block

Re: "This" Block
Also, you could have just an option for 1 input value for the block you're replacing instead of using this as the second.
If this isn't something simple you guys can make in a few minutes/seconds, don't bother with it. I'm just saying it would be more convenient

Re: "This" Block
Another idea would be to make a block identifier. /this, click a block, "This block is type CobbleStone." Something like that would really be useful.

True, and that way if they were making a 'this' blocktype then they wouldn't have to go in for every command that requires the material nameFehzor wrote:Another idea would be to make a block identifier. /this, click a block, "This block is type CobbleStone." Re: "This" Block
I would love a 'this' option for everything.
But i would keep the 2 parameters.

Code: Select all
/replace this air
/replace red this
/replace this blue water
