I was looking around for a gaming laptop mainly for minecraft. I was looking at this laptop: Asus U47VC-DS51. I honestly don't know much about good specs for gaming so it would be great if you guys could give me some feedback on how good minecraft would run on that laptop or give me any suggestions on what laptop you think would be good. I'm looking to spend less than $1000 and it has to be a laptop, no desktops.

take your pick the 14" is under 1000£ (sorry i dont know dollars) but if you want to play games more "complex" than minecraft, e.g. TF2, CoD, Counterstrike, Portal ect. i would recommend going with the 17", that is only if your willing to invest more than 1000$. but honestly its worth the money if you are going to pay more than 1000$

Gaming laptop that's decent for under $1000? Does not compute.

Seriously, you really shouldn't spend that type of money on a gaming laptop for Minecraft. Sure, you can play other games, but it's a shame that you aren't looking for a desktop. You'll be spending way more for a gaming laptop than a desktop. Then again, it is your money.
