A serious bug you say? Please, do go on.
But really are you hitting "resume" on your client? If so, the authentication on it only lasts 24 hours.
If you don't understand what that means, press "sign in" instead of "resume" and join the server. Then if you go another 24 hours WITHOUT signing in to our server, then you will have to do this again.

do you use an older WoM Client? The authentication process of those doesn't work anymore.

Also if you loged with a other IP then before the authentication fails.

"Could not verify player name":
Verification problems occur when your fCraft server cannot verify identity
of connecting players. Here are some things that may cause or fix
verification problems:
1. If minecraft.net is offline or slow, wait for it to stabilize.
2. If minecraft.net is working but you still cant verify name, log out then
log back in.
3. Try restarting your server. Wait a couple minutes before trying to
connect to a newly-restarted server (to give your server time to
synchronize with minecraft.net).
4. If you (or your players) are using WoM client's "Resume" function, which
uses cached verification information, try using the proper log-in
procedure in WoM instead. The "Resume" function only works as long as
your IP does not change and as long as the server does not restart.
5. If you are using WoM and connecting with a bookmark, make sure that the
bookmarked address starts with "http://www.minecraft.net/..." and not
"mc://...". Addresses in the form "mc://" are temporary, and will stop
working whenever the server is restarted.

If you are not the server's operator, #4 and #5 are relevant.

Again this might not be the bug specified.
Guys, before blurting stuff out please research the problem. WoM is CURRENTLY down. only sign in is down, and not resume. if your resume is fCraft you can play, otherwise you must wait for WoM to get fixed.
This is what they posted on the WoM site:
"Lots of people are complaining that they cannot log into the WoM client, instead of all making new topics and flooding the forums, please could people post their problems here(With screenshots if possible)

Dont get mad at me i'm sorry if this is incorrect. i'm just trying to help.
Besides that thread that was mentioned i dont think there is another way to get around it. and i havent tried that thread yet, and i will post if it works.
