Same Moderation procedure as before?

Warn Kick Warn Kick Warn Ban.

while using common sense to see if a person is a blatant grief and such.

We have carried over the rules threads, so you can check everything out. But yes, the warn-kick-warn-kick-warn-ban system has been discussed and explained to death so we should stick to it.

This is a very useful post.
We all were having a very large discussion about this on Tuesday with a majority of people(including veterans and operators) agreeing that it was simply warn>kick>ban.

Thanks for clearing things up.

I know this is the freebuild forum, but this is regarding smp.

Do we follow the same procedure for SMP?

SMP has some other ' rules'. (Please correct me if i'm wrong).

We instant ban for theft or 'big' griefs.

We warn for 'little griefs' aka, big wall and i made a door and repaired it.
We kick if that warning is not followed, we ban after that.

Thanks for the clarification on that, inter.

I have another question though.

Now that we have block tracking, how would the moderation procedure be changed by this?

Do we still warn>kick>ban if we find evidence of them griefing?

Asuming your talking about freebuild?
xKoreaNx wrote:find evidence
The block-tracking can be a great tool, but its not yet considert as evidence.
See it more as a 'hint' who to watch, a usefull one specialy for speedgriefers.

You still have the catch them while they are griefing.

It will not change.

If your talking about SMP, try to contact the person if its small.
Like 'stole a pumpkin'. If its bigger (theft, big grief), ban.
But its allwase better to contact the person, so they know why they are banned.

That isn't a very specific question.

Freebuild = Classic
SMP = Beta / Survival
