It's rather annoying for both parties (the people in school and people not in school) to get both school chat and regular chat at the same time. There should be a separate world chat for school. It would be so much more efficient and school would go by much faster! And obviously chat wouldn't be so crowded.

I'm not too technologically advanced as to knowing how we could possibly go about this; just putting the idea out.

I believe fragmer has a per-world chat system planned for 0.700

This is a great idea!
I heard someone else suggest this in-game and thought that it was a great idea. I hate when the lessons in school are clogging up the chat.

For the meantime you could always use /deafen, until it gets added in.
