/Freeze Command

Soon I returned to play a bit today, and a came across an issue with freezing players. I found out that to freeze someone you have to know type out their full name, (/f polakwithablock) instead of the classic way (/f pol). I understand that this new function allows for freezing of offline players, but I feel it is a major inconvenience as you now have to type out the full name. This really comes into play when you have players like 2008960llll, because you have you count out each zero and L, which allow the griefer more time to grief.

Can we please go back to the old way, or at least have a different command for freezing offline players?

There is a filter to apply for only online players. It's like /f !<player> I believe, needs confirmation.
