I will gradually develop guides for certain aspects of our server that seems to need them. If you feel like contributing that would be great! I will take in your stuff, edit it a touch and do an official release of it at some point. I will try and create a document reference guide also. They are pretty and I always wanted one. However, this will take a long time to compile. Any help is appreciated.

First guide; ChestShops!

The server runs iConomy Chest Shop as found here.

Any player is capable of buying and selling items with these! It costs 10 aurei to set one up, and when you decommission it, you get 5 aurei back as a deposit refund. However, this means that you need to be REALLY CAREFUL with your spelling or you will lose 5 aurei.

Now, setting them up. Throw down a chest, and in any of the 8 blocks horizontally adjacent throw down a sign. The sign will have the following appearance

<name> (If you leave this blank it will automatically fill in to be you)
<amount of the item> (This is how many you want to buy/sell at once)
B <price>:<price> S (These correspond to buying and selling price)
<item:data value> (See below)

As a note, B is people buying FROM you, and S is people selling TO you.

Now to set up the item field, you have a very useful command at your disposal. Put the item you want to buy/sell in your hot bar and then use /iteminfo. This will give you an item name and data field (if applicable). This allows you to sell things like potions and different colours of cloth, for example. If you don't have one of these, check this handy page. It has data values for everything you need if you click the respective links.

For example if I was selling a level 3 speed potion for 10 aurei, and buying for 5, it would look like the following;

Ollieboy
1
B 10:5 S
Potion:8194

If you think of any additions please contact me somehow.
