So you're doing this on your own server?

Then good news, you don't need pex! In the Pail>Stone directory there is a config.txt. In that it says;
wipe-protection = true
max-cuboid-area = 400
block-blacklist =
use-blacklist-as-whitelist = false
debug = false
allow-list = Hafnium, Thulinma, imjake9
On the bottom field, add your name with a comma and a space.

However, if that won't work for you and you do feel you need Pex, ensure you already have your ranks and whatnot set up in the pex CONFIG (not permissionsex.jar) and then simply add the permission node 'pailstone.<signtype>', so for example, 'pailstone.click', 'pailstone.clock' etc.

If you just want to give yourself all the signs, use 'pailstone.*', and if you just want to give yourself all the commands, *.* is the permission node. Does that help?

One other question if the Config.txt is missing is this a bad sign bc it seems to be miss placed also
How do u set colors for players like what we have for ranks?

If you somehow lost your config then you can just reload the plugin and it will regenerate.

As for your permissions, assuming you have some players already ranked and your set up ranks at the bottom, scoot down to the bottom and add to the ranks their "prefix" with a colour code.

Code: Select all

    veteran:
        prefix: '&2'
        inheritance:
        - member
        default: false
Like so. That &2 makes our veterans dark green. With this you can also add different symbols. For example,

Code: Select all

    owner:
        prefix: '&6#'
will give us an orange hash, # as it does on our smp server.
