Skydem, the floating kingdom of the sky. The first floating city in fCraft which though small, holds much.

Also, I believe something should be done about ugly buildings.. Or buildings that don't fit in to the city "look" - you should create some building guidelines such as the use of wood only or something. Legos igloo for instance makes my eyes start bleeding whenever I leave my house..

Yes I do agree with this. While I do think it is ok to use different blocks for detail, a whole mass of them looks messy and does not stick with the theme. Just my opinion.

This should be slightly easier now with the introduction of different plank colors and the different types of log.

I peobably will. i liked the thought of people being able build what they want. but it gets out of hand easily. Thanks for the tip

It's a good idea for sure, but should be within reason.
My house is a perfect example of being within reason. mxgic is another example from what I have seen from his house design and from his help of others. Even inters smooth brick tower works in my opinion.

Surfer the city is a hit! I remember when there was nothin! jajaja when I was helping you fill in the dirt for the sky mall jaja then when there were only 4 houses, the 3 apartments, and the house i bought. Man Skydem was sure good back then. But i think you should tell inter to change his house into mainly and not stone, because it just makes it look like a jail.

Hi guys! Teckon here. In my opinion Skydem is the best city in smp. Well done Surfer with the city hope Skydem keeps on getting better.

IMPORTANT: ALL CITIZENS MUST READ

The transfer is in near sights, and because of the massive population of Skydem, there is no way I can or will pay to transfer all your chests since the owner gets charged for all chests, not the citizens. So, i have a back up plan. By May 5th, I need you to go to the mine, and there is a storage system there. Condense your chests as much as possible, then go find your area and put your stuff in the chests. Please make sure to delete the chests from your house after they are cleared, because even empty chests get counted. Also, the city transfer will cost a big amount probably, so if you would like, donations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your handling your town nice and smoothly and i hope you get the transfer done without hassle. I'm not living there but count on me to donate.

i don't need my chest's in skydem i am clearing the house i own so you can assign those 2 other people that need more chests

One more thing I left out. This message applys for stall owners as well. And when the transfer comes, make sure to bring someone who can transfer down to the mine and tell them to remove my locks and copy your chest to your house in the new world (if they don't believe you, refer to this post). If you are too lazy to move your chests, then you can pay me based on your chests to keep them in the city and include them in the transfer or, unlock them and ill do it for you. Thanks.

Surfer, I haven't been able to get on, due to a load of university stuff. Would it be possible for you to do this for me? I will pay you for it once I get the chance, just get someone higher up to remove my locks if possible. I probably won't be able to get on until next week/weekend at the latest

I have state testing and such for this week so I might not be on. I gave alik 50au for donation and my chest. I might be able to get on Friday though.

Last Reminder: Make sure you move your chests or they WILL be deleted. After the new map, I'll probably try to get the city moved the first chance I get. And all remaining chests will be removed. If you lose stuff, I won't be to blame for it.

I blew up the original Skydem. It was fun.
