First what is the redstone guild, and what is its goal.

The restone guild are people who wanna help, experiment and have fun with the redstone and its components.
The goal of the redstone guild is to educate and help other players aswell as ourselfs.

We have a nice guild-house out spawn, thanks to Hafnium.

The guild uses an internal ranking system to keep track of which members are available for which services. Also some expertise for each member can be noted behind there names.

We are still looking for some cool names, and ofcourse more members.

Guild Masters:
Manages work orders and recruiting.

Teaches acolytes and engineers.

Lets hope the redstone guild grows quickly, so we can helpout other players where we can.

Maybe Hafnium wanna share what nice tools Redstone guild members may expect in the future.

Xes, i know what you can do with redstone.

You can count me in. I'd show you my hidden bookcase door if it weren't griefed, but I'll be making a city centered around redstone. So you can check that out when it's done.

Can I join? I'm a noob at red stone.

I think I can handle some Pailstone-ness but I'm pretty average at redstone.

I'm not quite at the crazy good "building a computer in minecraft lolol" level, but I always want to learn more about redstone.

If i ever happen to remember the guild exists when you are on inter, i'll ask you. But most of the time i am working on something redstoney so yea.

I'd like to submit my entry with 3 projects - 2-3-2 piston sand exit doors from Ollieboy's quest area, the hidden doors to the Tomb in the same chamber and the vertical corridor with piston-platforms that's located right behind the spawn (that's also going to make it to the quest).

To be clear, the redstone guild is here to help other people with redstone.
So you need to understand some basics.

We dont mind teaching people, but you can join the guild only when you know the basics.
You dont have to be part of the redstone guild to get some redstone training.

I made a rudimentary redstone elevator. If you'd like to check that out before 1.8.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to apply for a membership of the Redstone Guild.

My experience with redstone is moderate, while I have no experience with pailstone. I would say the most complicated structure I ever built using redstone was a Slot Machine, following a slight adjustment to the Nebris-Michiel type. Furthermore, my IRL education left me with sufficient knowledge on logic gates and electrical circuits.

My main aspiration is to improve my knowledge of redstone circuitry and gain experience in constructing them.

Good we need some more people that understand logic gates.

Pailstone is there to make your live easy. The bigest logic gates in 1 single block.
Same with timers, memory, cuboids, detecting etc etc.

I'm working on becoming a bit more advanced with pailstone. As you know, I just finished my working clock not to long ago. Wasn't super difficult, but it's a start. I'll see what I can do

I myself am pretty good with redstone. Pailstone, I haven't tried yet. But I would still like to join the guild.

It's been about a month now since I applied. I already showed you basic redstone skills in game. Why am I not in the guild yet?

Altho you can still help people with redstone when they ask for it.
You dont need to be in a guild for that .

Are you waiting for the 1.8 perm map? Because 1.8 is already hurr.

Since 1.9 is the second part of the adventure update, we may not be getting a permanent map until it's released since some of the features of 1.9 will require a new map. Any builds on the current map will be gone soon anyways. However, he may still be taking applications. That's up to him

Any chance anyone can come see my island before 1.9 comes out and it gets wiped, about 15-20hours of redstone in it and I want to learn more

I get the basics in pailstone and use it thoughout my island, it would be great if I can get into this guild

I'm in and also u guys know my door and pitfall trap on the old map and ham your island is a farmers dream very neet
