[CLOSED] /BanEx

Post by Jonty800 »

Hey, silly question but does /Banex work?

The code I have for banex is for 0.6x r1235.

I type /banex +jonty800 and it says "+jonty800 is not a valid player name"

Same for "-"

Was this fixed at some point or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks! Merry Christmas!!! :chicken:

That's a weird problem.. banex works fine for me with the methods described by you, make sure you're not trying to Banex someone with a weird displayedname, displayednames may contain invalid characters, causing such an error to be thrown.

However.. the '-' parameter should always work... Do you have this problem for every name you try, or just for one?
A = {x ∈ P(U) | x ∉ x}
Mods:
  1. /Su - Allows players to temporarily become a different rank
  2. /Snap - Like /Line but only draws straight or diagonal lines.
  3. pre-0.630 skip/none block

(Sorry for bumping this, only just saw it and I know what's going wrong)
You entered the rank prefix here, rank prefixes don't count as an actual name, try /banex jonty800

23:06:22 > # /BanEx +PlayerName or /BanEx -PlayerName
23:06:22 > # Adds or removes an IP-ban exemption for an account. Exempt accounts can log in from any IP, including banned ones.

/BanEx appears to be working properly in my copy (0.700). I'll look back at r1235, maybe it's a revision-specific bug.

I fixed this about a week ago by updating the ban code from the latest 0.6xx branch.

I noticed that I updated the ban code a while back

Code: Select all

updated ban handlers

Perhaps this was why?
