WoM Client Guide

How to get and use the World of Minecraft client

What is the WoM client?
When joining a server, have you ever saw some people flying? Other people going very fast? Others just going through everything like ghosts? So how and why can they do it? Simple, they have the WoM client which lets you do all these awesome things to make your Minecraft life so much easier!

Step 1 : Downloading the client

This is the latest version of the client, 2.0.7

Download here! (registration required)

Step 2 : Extracting the file

Save the file on your desktop. Create a folder for the client. Once it is downloaded, you need to extract it using WinRAR, 7Zip, Winzip or other archiving tool to the folder you created.

Step 3 : Getting Minecraft.Jar

In the new client version, you don't have to download it here, it will ask you to download it once you run it, but if you want, here's the link

Get it here

Save it in the lib folder in the client folder you have created.

The installation is done! Quite easy... ^-^

For macs

The first part of the guide applies
once you have placed minecraft.jar in the lib folder open up terminal which can be found in spotlight.

then type these commands

cd (drag the wom client folder into the window and press enter)

then

chmod +x minecraft-osx.sh

now right click on the minecraft-osx.sh and select open with.
go to utilities and find terminal
At the bottom there should be a box that says Recommended Application. change that to all application and select always open with. now select terminal and click on the minecraft-osx.sh to run the program

Installation done! :D

Using the client

Now, run the client by double clicking "wom.exe" and log in with your usual username and password. Be careful though as it is case sensitive! (You can now join a server with the direct link or start Singleplayer directly from the log in screen)

A screen with a list of all the avalaible servers will appear, you can choose any of them by clicking on them and clicking Go!

You can also bookmark your favorite servers by clicking the Add button, it will ask you for a name for the bookmark, then for the URL of the server.

So for example, to add the fCraft server, you could type

Name : fCraft Freebuild Official
URL : http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?serve ... 1029ad4339

Once you join a server, it's going to load, then the screen will appear.

You will see the buttons Reload, Screenshot, Dump Level and Enable hacks.

Screenshot : Takes a screenshot of what you are looking at
Dump Level : Saves the level you are on, in your server to your client folder
Exit : Exits the client
Enable Hacks : Turns hacks on and off

Now, the interesting part (Make sure you have Hacks enabled) :

Flying : Press Z to activate flying, then Q to go up and E to go down
Running : Holding CTRL makes you go twice as fast
Holding SHIFT makes you go 5 times faster!
No-clip : Hold x to go through walls, ground and even the limit of the worlds!
Triple Jump : Simply jump in the middle of the air to jump a second time and a third time!

Now you know everything to use the WoM client properly! Start building things in the middle of the sky!

But DON'T use it for griefing!

I just wanna make clear to the people using this client,
we 'shoot first, ask questions later'.

Griefing with this client wil result in a instant ban without warning.

Use the Username and Password you would normally use to connect to our servers as you would on Minecraft.net.
I'm scared to death that I'll never be afraid.

I did all that was said, I have it downloaded, but when I open the client and go to login, it tells me my login is incorrect, or there is no world linked to my account? I'm fairly new to minecraft, and was wondering if there was something I was doing wrong? Or do you have to have your own server?

You need to use your minecraft username and pass. And you can make your minecraft account at the minecraft website.
