Ok. So now that I have achieved the rank of mason, I have been trying to step up my builds!
This was the first build I made as a mason.

Well, this is the result of my ambitions.
Thanks for checking it out.

Also, I may note that I am not sure what would be considered arch. material, so if you could drop a comment and maybe tell me if I need to step up more (which I'll of course try to do) or whether this could make it on my app. some time in the future.

Thanks guys!

That is some smexy work right there...

Anyways, you were asking what "architect standard" is. The best way to answer that is to go to a architect world (if they still exist :p ) and you check out their builds.

There is no definition on what Architect is, but keep building, and keep showing your creativity in new ways. Try making something so unique, something that shows dedication, effort, and quality, and you are on a good streak on getting architect! :D

Either that or look through the appeals to find past architect applications. I know some were made on another server (Special Attack) but I think there were some architects who applied on these forums.

Anyhow, great build dude, well done :)

Look at Pemalite's arch application.

If you have seen what Nessy, Snave, Wundsalz or Trepvalkyrie can do then you know what gets my vote.

It's a new custom client called "Charged Miners", made by Prf_Jakob and a little help of fragmer, it has dynamic shadowing that you can change whenever you want, also has most of the functionability WoM has, it's still in development.

I'll definetly try it (though I'm not sure if my stuff actually looks better with it as I've relied on the top down shadowing quite heavily in almost all my builds).
---edit---
It's pure eyecandy compared to the accustomed WoM-look. It's nice to see, you're adressing one major flaw of classic mc (the lighting) and I wish you good luck with makeing it more efficient (currently its performance reminds me of a diashow ;P).

Wunds does have a point. The shadows in classic come in handy. But I do like the looks of it.
