/circle has same dynamics as /sphere but 2D draws a perfect circle
/oval shas the same dynamics as /e but also 2D

You can already do both of these with /e, just do some geometry.

Good news, /EllipsoidH (/eh) can now do wireframe circles/rings/ovals, starting with fCraft 0.641
And you could always do filled circles/ovals with /Ellipsoid (as Ollie pointed out).
