Re: /Import maps
You don't need to import anything. fCraft can load e.g. MCSharp compliant maps automatically as if they were its own maps. (Well, it converts them.)

Re: /Import maps
Does this work for WoM dumped dat files?
"Excuse me, have you got a spare $10?".... Yeah I do. So would you if you had a job.
Re: /Import maps
See /WLoad article on fCraft wiki. Yes, both MCForge map files (.lvl) WoM-dumped (.dat) files are supported by /WLoad. Just make sure to include the file extension when you're loading it.
Re: /Import maps
Ahh didn't realise you could do it ingame with /wload, I though you could only load foreign files in the config utility.

Re: /Import maps
eum i tried fcraft 1 week. but went back to MCForge because the players dont know the commands bla bla and dont have \abort \paint shortcuts \doors physics....
but mcforge is bad at taking server power.
after 24 hours its hangs on 100% cpu load
where fcraft runs so smootly and nice
well.. what i wanted to say is that the maps are changed now on MCForge.
going back to fcraft (if the people learned the commands) would me import again 200+ maps
(our own maps)
an command like /import maps folderwhitalthemaps operator operator
imports all the maps in that folder and sets /wbuild and /waccess of all the maps to operator
that would help a lot of people whit going to fcraft

Re: /Import maps
I'll see if i can make a little standalone utility for you for mass map conversion.

Make sure you can specify what maps will be loaded upon importing, because cateye's suggestion indicated they will all be loaded with access and build permissions, which would be pretty undesirable for us, for example.fragmer wrote:I'll see if i can make a little standalone utility for you for mass map conversion.

I use WoM for all of my server stealing needs!

Re: /Import maps
Well, all it'll do is ask for a folder with MCSharp maps (*.lvl), ask how to map MCForge ranks to your fCraft ranks, and output fCraft maps (*.fcm) and world list (worlds.xml). I'll have it ready in a day or two, after 0.612 gets released.
