ok the server crashed at 725 pm (03:26:32 Wednesday, December 21, 2011, week 51
UTC) and came back on but half of everyones stuff is now missing....

That is understandable if the map wasn't saved before the crash. :-P

Somehow I think it has something to do with Graphics crashing our server files using open source, through his unbannable VPN. Lucky he didn't go through with his "24/7" plan, or we'd be toast :creeper:

Heh.

But server crashing is to minecraft like a fat kid to cake. Almost every crash rolls back. Something we have to deal with.

true ollie but when it undoes half of what youve built and takes all the diamonds youve found it gets annoying. is there a way to make t auto save the map quicker ?

The amount of times my stuff has been rolled back makes me wonder why I still play this game. Deal with it. This happens.

The diamonds are back at the place where you can mine them again.

But yeah, it gets annoying, but its something we and everybody needs te live with.

I remember building a giant tic-tac-toe once... i think i did the 'win-conditions' about 8 times.
