Hello there fellow gamers, Gvr323 here.
It has come to notice that the /bi command is being used and used more often due to the amount of griefers increasing drastically.
I have a suggestion to this.
Would extending the /bi command be a good idea, at all? You tell me!
Using the /bi command to check the info of a block is quite useful, but it doesn't tell you everything you need to know, so I thought I'd try to extend this a little bit.
Extending this command.
/Biarea
* Every player involved in building the chosen project will be shown on a list.
* If possible, a percentage level will be given to measure exactly which player built the most.
After using /biarea - /Biarea (name)
* The chosen area will be examined and and the area built by the given name will light up in red.
I'll leave the coding to you Fragmer. (lol)
This way you can easily see who built what and who didn't, alot easier.
I hope this helped.
Extending the /bi command.

Re: Extending the /bi command.
If the database of Bi allowes it, i would like to have a more 'query' like statement
/bi (without something does same as now).
/bi lookup <query>
Query can be:
player <name>
area <range> (using area would make use of world have no effect)
time <time>
world <worldname>
block <name>
draw <sphere/cuboid> etc
blockcount <number> (only for draw, will query this and higher)
etc etc.
Examples:
/bi lookup player Gvr323 time 1h world main
2011-10-4 23:20:34 Gvr323 placed white at main (34x525x234)
2011-10-4 21:00:34 Gvr323 replaced white with red at main (34x525x234)
2011-10-4 20:20:34 Gvr323 placed white at main (34x525x233)
/bi lookup block lava world builder40
/bi lookup world main draw cuboid blockcount 300
ow btw, yes this query idea is stolen from smp

Re: Extending the /bi command.
It would be good if /? could be added as an alias to /bi as it is a little bit more convenient and there is currently no command assigned to /?. It in effect just makes it a little easier to use when trying to check multiple griefs. Of course you could just repeat the command but anyway. Just an idea. .

That's not convenient, same amount of keystrokes, and I'd end up trying to bisexual using ??

Re: Extending the /bi command.
Are you counting the shift to get a ? as a keystroke? anyway.
The convenience is the location of the ? in relation to the / . For those who cannot touch type or those who simply do not want to make an effort typing /? is much easier in my opinion. I know that a few other servers use this as one of their aliases for their block history and it seems to be the most commonly used alias.
Just a thought anyways .

Re: Extending the /bi command.
I am definitely adding some sort of an area-of-effect /BI.
