it's like combination of /line and /measure
if /line need to place 2 point, this one only placed 1 point
example : /line 5 whiteWool
hard for me to explain, i will use this pic
it's annoying that i must make line 67 blocks long but can't make a instant line that have 67 blocks long
maybe add angles will make it more useful
like.. /line [blocks] [angle]
hmm... line+measure = /linem anyone?
i'm sorry if this suggestion already taken or the command already exist, i not really know some new fcraft commands
My english is not pretty good, it's hard for me to explain this stuff :/

/line [length]

Re: /line [length]
I like it, really, but there is a small problem:
5 is a perfectly valid blockname.
And I don't really see an easy way to work around this.
the linem would work though, but you still need to be able to distinguish between the blocktypes and the length.

Re: /line [length]
Which axis is this angle along? x/y/z? Is it relative to where player is looking? Honestly I'd rather still require player to place 2 markings (first one for line origin, second one to indicate direction), and add optional length argument.Evansurya555 wrote:maybe add angles will make it more useful

Re: /line [length]
My opinion is that it's not nescesary to add an entire new command just to avoid placing an extra mark.

Re: /line [length]
actually, that's a good idea! it's pretty dangerous if the line based from our direction (I already scared with /fill2d, afraid if i look at wrong direction)fragmer wrote: Honestly I'd rather still require player to place 2 markings (first one for line origin, second one to indicate direction), and add optional length argument.
about the angle... i will think about it later...
nah, i actually i don't mind with placing 2 points. but the main problem is how to make a line we desired without using /measure or count the block one by one.phonebookguy wrote:My opinion is that it's not nescesary to add an entire new command just to avoid placing an extra mark.

Oh yes, the measuring issue. That could be useful now that you explain it.Evansurya555 wrote:actually, that's a good idea! it's pretty dangerous if the line based from our direction (I already scared with /fill2d, afraid if i look at wrong direction)fragmer wrote: Honestly I'd rather still require player to place 2 markings (first one for line origin, second one to indicate direction), and add optional length argument.
