minecraft problems

Post by theytookourjobs »

recently minecraft has been acting up on me, for example, i can no longer play beta through http://www.minecraft.net, i log in, i click "in browser" it gets past the java loading icon and it loads, then i just get a black screen, so now I'm having to use the downloaded minecraft which does work for me , the only problem with that is, it freezes all the time!!!! :creeper: :angryzombie: :angryskeleton:
if there is any way to fix this please tell me, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hating on java in this context is fine. Its not meant for game-like applications.

Usually if you are getting a black screen in the browser you've edited your file somehow. Delete your minecraft folder in your app data section and then try.

dont know if this will work for you but, try deleting the bin folder in .minecraft, then just run minecraft again and it will make a new bin folder that SHOULD fix it.
if you do not know how to get to the .minecraft folder just ask me how to get there :) .

:happyskeleton: This was when we had the temp map. Might have also been my ISP that day being gay with bandwidth.
