[SOLVED] Only I can connect

I downloaded fcraft server and wanted to make a private server for me and my brother. The only problem is it only lets my computer connect and not his. I tried forwarding port 25565, but the config tool still says its not open, could that be the problem?(I thought you didnt have to port forward if you're on the same router). Do you know how I can solve this?

i have the same thing on my mini server .... if theres a way to do it i would like to know

1) "Check port" will only work if nothing else is using that port. So make sure that you turn off your server first before checking it. Also, try one of the third-party check sites, like this one: http://canyouseeme.org/

2) Try temporarily disabling your firewall (if you've got one), and see if the connectivity problems persist. You may need to add a permanent firewall exception for fCraft.

I tried those, still no. Could it be because we are on the same Ip it is causing conflicts?

Here's the solution that ended up working.
