[REJECTED] ban revision

Post by tomsplz3 »

is there a way to make it where it wont ban the person unless there is a reason to it such as greifing or spleefing and make it where it doesnt accept random numbers or 1234qfrhoagfn;ah[gn like that ?
this is also repeated in op section under another post
below this is an example of what i mean from beeriebeer

This would be interesting to have. I'm not aware if this could be done or not.

I'd rather not add any heuristic nonsense-detection. There's no reliable way to do it. I'd rather have a talk with people who don't use proper kick/ban reasons. They're the problem here.

it could be possible, even though i doubt itll happen, that you could have an option in configuration to make custom kick/ban reasons.

for example, instead of typing /kick playername typereason , you would have to select one of the preset kick reasons from a list such as grief, not following rules, annoyance, etc.

also in the configuration menu you could create your own kick/ban reasons for ops/admins to select when kicking/banning a player.

Dont know if you understand what i mean or if its a good idea but hey its the thought that counts! lol
