My pc has 10gb of ram. Is their a way to allocate a number of that ram to the server?
for example. Id like my server to use 4gb of ram for itself. The other 6gb for my pc. How?

fCraft is already set to use as little RAM as possible. You can't force it to use any more or any less than it uses normally.

Ohh okay. Any way the software can be modded to have access to more ram?

He just told you that it will take the RAM automatically... It uses as much as it needs. You can "allocate" RAM by not running other programs so there is enough there, I guess. :-P

If you have 10GB of memory and it's not enough, you need to upgrade anyways. Memory is cheap as hell right now :D

C# is a managed language, so basically no.

If you're really hardcore, you could rewrite fCraft in C or C++

That makes sense now. Ill have 10gb of DDR3 ram in a few days but a very experienced developer i talked to for a few hours explained to me that ram was in fact not the problem i was having. It is actually my bandwidth. Currently ive got about 5 megabits per second upload speed. Ill speak with my dad about moving up to either a business account with our internet company or switching to a different company with more upload speed.
