On using IRC

Our server relay channel is
#fCraft.server
On the Esper.net IRC Network (irc.esper.net).
You can access it through your favorite IRC client or through the Mibbit Webchat:
http://www.mibbit.com/#[email protected]
The important part is that you all register your nicknames with NickServ
You do that by typing:
/msg NickServ REGISTER <password> <email>
And following the instructions.
After registering you have to identify yourself each time you log in - you can put that in your "Perform" section in your IRC client.
/msg NickServ IDENTIFY <password>
You can also have multiple nicknames attached to your account - change your nickname after having authenticated yourself and type:
/msg NickServ GROUP
All of the above is VERY important for protecting your nicknames from impostors (even when you're offline!) and setting channel privileges.
