ConfigGUI Textfield visual bugs

on linux/mono there are several visual bugs in the textareas of, for example, Edit greeting.
Though this probably is just mono being silly, but here it goes:
Show
a string of 'y's or 'v's will get cut off or something and eventually end up with blank characters, though this can be fixed by pressing return, which
does leave some blank space after the line, where cannot be typed successfully.
a sting of 's's will displace the cursor to the left. creating confusion on where you're actually typing. The cursor in the image is at the end of the line.
Examples are extremities, these bugs occur in normal text as well, but are harder to spot.
This has been annoying me for a while.

This is indeed a Mono text-rendering bug that I cant do anything about.
