I'll explain right now. I was just playing peacefully, building my hotel when suddenly, a random thought popped into my head that I didn't think before saying...

I had NO clue this thought would get things so heated, eventually leading to me being demoted.
Ninja said something about how if i am jmax, it explains a lot. Then, Inter told me to prove I'm not him/her now, so here it is.

Truth be told I am not him/her but I don't know how to prove it. Although here are a few bullet points I thought of:

-We have no relationship. Check our IP's. (Although according to Ninjacat, IP means nothing)
(I don't know his IP. But it must be different from mine...)
-Why would I want to unban someone I don't even know?
-Like I stated, it was just a thought that popped into my head...
-If I was caught with the same IP, I would have probably been caught before I was a builder, let alone veteran.

P.S. Ninjacat, about me joining recently and knowing about Jmax, 1) I randomly found his ban appeal and 2) I hear people talk about him all the time.

I just don't understand why you'd try and unban somebody who you don't even know, even if it was just random and you were testing out a command.. Why him?

To clear that up, he was the first person who popped into my mind.

That's not a valid excuse. It's not just the fact you tried to unban him, but the way you act just like him even to the point of asking for ranks all the time. Quite a few things don't add up here..

I am speechless...
Pretty much the only thing I knew about jmax was that he was banned. I don't even know anything about his behaviour on the server.

And about asking for ranks, I just thought it was taking a while.

One more thing to add to the list:
Ever since I joined I was being asked if I was him and my standard response was "No, who is he?" or something like that. It wasn't until, maybe a week or so ago?? that I found out he was banned.

I'm 99% certain this isn't jmax. He wouldn't of been able to make such coherent sentences yet.
Not only that, but we've all accused him of being jmax from the day he joined; so maybe he was playing around with that idea? Point is; I think we're more to blame than this dude.

I agree, we can't demote someone for a failed unban, just to try it out, and seeing there's a period before it, it might've been a joke. Also, this person has done nothing wrong, from what I've seen. o.o

His words are a bit diverent from the situation that was on mc.

1. I demoted him, as Ninja confronted him about this. But this is Ninja's demotion/appeal, not mine.
2. I told him to go appeal, so he could 'explain and defend' himself.


I checked his isp's of both account, unless he moved from one state to a other its not him.
IP's can be spoofed, but those are 'normal isp' connections. No weird stuff arround it.

1. About the notes, I used to like promoting my self to random ranks (I know it doesn't work, not abusing it lol)

3. Like Kevin said it was a joke. If I wanted to unban him, I would try to without the period effort the slash.

4. Question related to 3 - Although I dont recall doing this, I'm curious, do you guys have access to see when someone uses a command they have an insufficient rank for?

I'd like to take this time to say I accuse Arkaunis of being Barrowboyjames. If he can't prove he isn't Barrow, I will ban him.

And just to be on topic, yes, we can see what people say and do through server logs. Or at least we're supposed to, idk, I'm not in the loop there.
