fGraphs! (Updated 5/4) Now Including fMaths!

So recently, a thought popped into my head during a terrible moment of boredom; what if I put various aspects of our fCraft server to a graph? Below, you'll find the results of this little experiment of mine.

I have drawn fourteen original fGraphs so far, and I plan to update this thread periodically, with additional graphs as I draw them. Please note that these graphs are entirely for fun-zees. They are not, by any means, meant to be taken seriously.

So here we go:

#1: Command Syntax
Image
This fGraph was the first I made. It plots the difficulty of learning a rank's new commands against the rank itself. This is specific to freebuild, because on CMP, the difficulty goes to infinity regardless of rank. :P

#2: Guests
Image
This fGraph speaks for itself, I think.

#3: Rank up!
Image
This fGraph represents the average time it takes to rise in rank. Lim as rank --> owner = infinity.

#4: Rank up 2!
Image
This fGraph is the same as the one before; it just is more specific. It plots the elapsed time by rank for people such as xStanthemanx or Mandulligan, etc (there are many more).

#5: Skills
Image
This fGraph also speaks for itself quite well.

#6: Ninja
Image
Gotta love that /hide command.

#7: Command Size
Image
This fGraph is a personal favorite of mine. I hope most of you remember the outlier; I know I sure do.

#8: Out to Lunch
Image
Who knows how much time Trustees+ farm? Only them; no one else can see. Who knows how much time Owners farm? Nobody. Owners can hide from Owners.

#9: CMP Syntax
Image
This one is kind of difficult to read, but here's what I'm going for. I mentioned that for each rank, difficulty goes to infinity. So, I immediately thought of the tangent function. While it's not quite f(x) = tan(x), here's what I came up with. The Local Min is the moment you realize just how difficult your rank's commands really are. And the Local Max is when you have finally mastered those commands, and feel on top of the world, only to get promoted and be back at the beginning with new commands.

#10: My Sweet New Kicks
Image
You think it's about shoes. You're wrong. For the record, Ollie's gargantuan kick-count was likely (lol) done with SetInfo. Do I care? Nope; makes for a great graph.

#11: Nothing but Stats
Image
Guests tend to break more than they build. Other ranks, not so much.

#12: Futility
Image
Those types of guests really are cool. They pop up every so often.

#13: Quality Control
Image
You need to take into consideration also, that back in the day, the commands were not as nifty as they are now. That being said, I think today's blue builders are pretty damn good.

#14: Never Fails
Image
I may as well just map "Drop Item" to my Page Up key.

EDIT: Look in the comments page below for the fMaths section of this thread!
WARNING: You will need to understand basic calculus to understand that section!

And that's all of them, for now. Let me know what you think. If you like 'em, I'll keep making 'em. And even if you don't, I probably will anyways. :D

All for now,
-RB

You forgot the massive drop in building skills you see at the owner rank.

Between ImperialCity, PixelPonies, and CMP's main spawn, I reckon it's fine as it is. :P

This is pretty awesome, practically spat out my drink in a fit of laughter at the mention of Element's Torus. I think I still have some screen caps of that lying around somewhere on my computer.

I think you underestimate the effect my ineptitude has on the average.

Does Lim count? I mean he hasn't built anything good or bad, or anything at all.

Try a graph on:

AFK Farming (hour farming)

I think you know who's to be used there. hehe.

Oh I have! Loooong before you or Hafnium were on the server.

My builds (mostly statues, not very large) are archived on builder1 and builder2. These were not even built on fCraft but rather MC#.

Edit:

I got carried away with KHAAAAAAANing.

But you do farm very well >_>

HEY Y'ALL!

So, it's been a week since the initial release of fGraphs, and they did much better for themselves than I'd expected. So, one week later, I've delivered with one new graph per day. Enjoy the 7 new entries. :)

EDIT: Also, just hit 1k hours. Celebrate with me.

I'm glad the straight truth is being put out there, and that sphere brings out laughable memories.
Continue on with these awesome graphs.

did you ever consider to visualize the actually collected data?

I did. But that would make it much less entertaining.

Day 13: Breakthrough. I've made a massive discovery in the rapidly evolving field of fMath, inspired by the fCraft logo itself.

What most people see:
Image
What I see:
Image
Here's my math page, as I work through the calculus. Pretend that the two images are linked, at the last expression on the first pic and the first on the second.
Image
Image
This fCurve, f(x) = 2x, is everywhere! Further study of the fCraft environment has allowed me to find all sorts of examples of this prominent function!

1: /ln
Image
A /ln.

2: /
Image
The / used to call every command.

3: Wheee
Image
Even the ascending limb of the slide in school has a rough shape of f(x) = 2x

4: Cable Club
Image
If you reflect the cables in Lounge2 across the Y axis, you find a line with a slope of 2.

5: Logo
Image
And of course, most importantly, the f itself in the logo follows this shape.

The evidence is conclusive. f(x) = 2x truly is the one and only fCurve. The area under this curve? x^2 + C. Its derivative? 2. I submit my proof. Perhaps one day, the fCurve will have its own theorem.

Happy modeling,
-RB

EDIT: Let me know if you would like to continue seeing fGraphs! If enough people want more, I'll make more. Otherwise, I'll stay at fourteen.

The fCraft conspiracy.

I'd of course, love to see more fGraphs. They're clever and full of humor.

I'm sure with enough thinking we could relate this to the end of the world.
2: Febuary?
X: Planet X?
It's the end, man.
