reseting to previous time.
I am an administrator on one of the servers. The owner only leaves the server running because it is part of his system. He has allowed me to run the classic game for the last year. I asked him to try to update it , we are using 631 or 6.31 or what ever it is. He did something that has totally cleare...

Re: can I format the playerDB.txt file
thanks for that Ninjacat. Sorry I got the wrong section. Your links are perfect, thanks. I only want to run through the players that were on, say, a year or so ago who have been given a promotion or two and who we never see again. I understand if I just delete the whole line they will disappear from...

can I format the playerDB.txt file
I was going to prune my player database and opened it to find it hard to read as far as what each column means. I have succeeded in getting it to load into excel with the columns all formatted but the dates show up wrong? For instance it says my rank change date is 1379973414. Does anyone know how I...

is there a command to shorten the /up command
As an admin I spend most of my time doing /b info <player> /up <player> I seem to remember something about being able to use a short cut to do the name ? i.e. /info <player> /up ? the ? being a command that repeated the players name. Is this available with fcraft or am I thinking of some other softw...

Re: is it worth deleting old worlds?
ok thanks for the reply. I assume I would have to download the 'worlds' file and clear names manually. Seems a long way to go about it. I have a few hundred worlds from as far back as 2 years ago, its a shame I can't just make all worlds I want to delete, say, accessible by a particular rank and the...

As the only staff member left visiting my site I have decided to thin out the worlds. Do I get much computer space back from just wunload or do I need to delete the world completely? Is there a command for ungen? I don't own the server and it is on the owners computer. He keeps it going even though ...

thank you sir that is exactly what I wanted.
It is a command that doesnt show on the wiki fcraft page.
you dont have a list of other similar commands that dont show do you?
Or at least let me know where I could find such a list?
Thanks,
matelo2

I am sure that a long time ago I used a /commands that gave me a list of who is a member of staff?
i.e. something like /list administrators gave me a list of admin staff. Can anyone remind me what the command is?
Thanks.

Re: Mojang Account Support
Yes, mojang accounts will give you an email username, that's the whole reason I was trying to add mojang account support. The resume button on wom will bring you back to the last server you successfully joined. Also, I'm pretty sure fCraft will look at your ip and try to allow you to connect if ips...

Re: Mojang Account Support
if I do /whois jacob I get a list of names including jacob but no other name for him?
there is no /list displayednames in maiome but we are using a fairly old version, is the one in the present version?
Either way it gives me no way of getting info on our jacob the moderator

Re: Mojang Account Support
if it somehow happened that a duplicate playername was written, the player in question would most likely be unidentifiable by the server. we have a character called jacob (he is staff) if you do /info jacob it brings up a comment stating there are a number of names conforming to that and gives a li...

thank you for your reply bob. Is the comment in 1 an abbreviation? I don't understand AFAIK? :) I assume 2 refers to the answer in 1. 3 do you know how to break it up? 4 I have put a question on the thread you gave me the link to. I solves my problem of why, I hope it can solve my problem of how to ...

Re: Mojang Account Support
Well, everything that can change poses a risk. Just as an example, I'm sure this is not the only issue, but Playernames must be unique, if it somehow happened that a duplicate playername was written, the player in question would most likely be unidentifiable by the server. As it is now this cannot ...

questions by new member of staff
the minecraft world has been around for a long time, many people have moved on. I am new to it and have been given the chance to staff a server running fcraft. The owner has also moved on and is never on the classic server so I have problems contacting him. He also runs other programs on the interne...
