512x512x512 is waaaaay big. That's twice the size of contest/mason maps. People struggle to load those and you want it twice as big? ~60-70 million block volume is about the max people can handle, especially for a community project. I think it was just a lack of active judges that killed off contest...again. Every contest we had was extended another week or two because Hit had to either wait for the official judges, or get some random's vote just to end it. Also, only having three to four good builds made the contest rather bor...

[Invalid] Map breaking after 1023xyz

When a map exceeds 1023 blocks in either direction, funny things start to happen. The compass will show a negative dimension (-1023,y,z) and blocks are unable to be placed from the bad area. I can place blocks from the good area into the bad but I can't place blocks standing in the bad into the good...

When I use Wom 1.6, the blocks are just fine. With the new WoM, however, the blocks start to act up. I went to another server (FREEBUILD FOR FUN [BIG MAP]) to see if it was specifically a WoM/server issue. With the new WoM on that server, I couldn't reproduce the bug. When manually deleting blocks, especially in pillars, some blocks reappear instantly. Some of them I can sit in one spot while holding the mouse click and the block reappears over and over. It seems like making a pillar will sometimes leave out 5-10 block chuck after completing it, too. I think this...
