Re: Log-in Issues? - LauncherX, Charged Miners, WoM
I don't use xWOM or WOM myself, but I heard about similar errors, if I recall that correctly it's a bug between minecraft and java7 or something. You normally spawn high up in the sky but java7 doesn't like that on all maps, could you try moving the spawn location to somewhere on the ground. Again: ...

Re: Mojang Account Support
What exactly were you planning on doing with your number? Did you not need a way to relate an e-mail address to a playerinfo object?

Re: Mojang Account Support
Easy with LINQ, just select the playerInfos Where the field is not blank and retrieve the Count It'll look a bit like: playerinfos.Where( info => info.mojang != null ).Count(); Probably. Instead of my unchecked, probably horribly wrong LINQ, have a reference: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/...

Re: Copyslot 'world'
I like it, but spawning may be problematic unless you like suffocating in blocks.
What might be cool too, but probably adding much more complexity to an already complex idea is being able to live-edit your copyslot in that world. No, wait! Don't paste your copyslot in your copyslot!

Re: ServerGUI and ConfigGUI won't start...
Ah, a detailed report of what's wrong, lovely.
It does indeed appear to be the installed framework. If you could see if it works after installing http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=22 then we may have a clear picture of the problem.

Re: Mojang Account Support
if it somehow happened that a duplicate playername was written, the player in question would most likely be unidentifiable by the server. we have a character called jacob (he is staff) if you do /info jacob it brings up a comment stating there are a number of names conforming to that and gives a li...

Re: Mojang Account Support
Well, everything that can change poses a risk. Just as an example, I'm sure this is not the only issue, but Playernames must be unique, if it somehow happened that a duplicate playername was written, the player in question would most likely be unidentifiable by the server. As it is now this cannot h...

Re: Mojang Account Support
It's not possible to change the playerDB names automatically, you could do it by hand but then fragmer will shout at you for not being responsible for loss of data and stuff. I could probably paste some code to work around your read-only problem but I don't think I have time for that until thursday....

Re: Waste griefer's time
Yay, thanks a lot for already considering this. In my mind it didn't look very hard to implement especially since no additional PlayerDB flags were needed.
I understand why you don't want to change kick, as I said, I was a bit unsure about kick vs. ban in this model. So maybe it's for the better.

Waste griefer's time
That's right! Another suggestion that claims it magically solves the griefer problem! A lot of progress has been made in this field, since it is a problem of significance. Yet I believe some parts to be outdated, and that we're being too kind. First off, I speak of griefers as disruptive or otherwis...

This is, of course, very secure.
So the link appears as a server message to a player, then what? You can't copypaste from minecraft.

Re: More additions to Setinfo.
IP would be nice to disjoin lingering accounts from ones /info. Just kinda bringing this back up. I think /SetInfo IP would be a great addition. Mostly for the use Hellenion stated. I suppose it would create a random IP for the player specified, or you could have an opinion to decide which IP to us...

Allow N|W|S|E where X|Y is expected
The X and Y axis are always a bit hard to remember, and you can't query them in any way either. North, South, East and West can be seen with {{cmd|Where}}, and thus are easier to get right. You could even go as far as making N and S each other's inverse, where {{cmd|rotate 90 N}} would equal {{cmd|R...

It's an interesting idea for sure, though it may be insecure when not configured well.
Though, the security on the IRC network end isn't really fCraft's problem.

[FIXED] /BanIP bans untouchable players
Once a player gets the BanIP permission, any limit on their banning capabilities is nullified, since they can simply ban the IP address of any player, including, for example, the Owner's IP. When banning an IP address, any players on that IP address that you should not be able to affect must get a b...

It seems intuitive to be able to /cancel those, maybe even add a tip about being able to /undo them.

you could do a "(New version available!)" in /version, though. If automatic updates are off this could be a good way to get informed about it.
