Re: Stop messing with seeds!
Playing the game, getting started from 0, surviving the first few nights.. Making a new base.. Darn, that almost sounds like fun! I strongly disagree with this. While it might be interesting to start over again the first or 2nd time, the excitement about those restarts drops quite rapidly, as it's ...

Re: First build as mason!! ~Jjb14~
I'll definetly try it (though I'm not sure if my stuff actually looks better with it as I've relied on the top down shadowing quite heavily in almost all my builds). ---edit--- It's pure eyecandy compared to the accustomed WoM-look. It's nice to see, you're adressing one major flaw of classic mc (th...

And yet another detail relating to the structure transferal that's worth to be discussed. I'd like to pick up this little conversation: <@Ollieboy> I want copy and pasting to be minimal[...] HooosMiner: the problem with that will be: how do you decide what to copy and what not <@Ollieboy> An applica...

transfer chests require a shitload of organisation. It'd be far more comfortable for everyone to just allow people to keep their inventories on worldchange.JustOnePanda wrote:I'd prefer if transfer chests were allowed if we have a fresh start to a map.

Re: Stop messing with seeds!
Taking the enormous size of the world into consideration, a couple of ugly, unblended chunk borders in the middle of nowhere isn't a gamebreaker that requires an immediate reaction. Most people won't even notice it for a long time (if at all). Nevertheless I don't believe in the concept of a "p...

Re: Architect Application: ImTygaTyga
We judged the quality of their builds. Ok that's a totally different story. It might have been a good idea to communicate that in the thread. The way it looked to me (and probably everyone else who took a look at that thread) was that Ollie browsed over the thread an hour after it was created and r...

Re: Architect Application: ImTygaTyga
It wasn't an administrative choice. How was it not an administrative choice? - The application was within a grey area of your set of rules. - A situation that literaly asks for a decision from the servers administration how to deal with this case and similar cases in future. Instead of putting thou...

I still consider the reject of your dual application one of the worst administrative choices I've seen here since I've joined this community.

Re: Paintboy100's Mason Application (In Progress)
Didn't you make all that stuff within your first 30h on the server? Anyway I have to agree with Ollie on this one, though the stuff you've built so far shows that you've got an eye for detail and are capeable of mason quality builds. Just keep building and scale your stuff up a little and your name ...

mobspawner plugin bug
spawneggs are now (since 1.2) stackable. Clicking on a mobspawner with a spawneggstack removes the entire stack instead of just removing one egg.

hm what norm will be used for the length calculation? min, max and 2 all make sence imo - it might be hard to make the usage of this command intuitive.

nice idea. what about the angle between xz-plane y-axis though? - same procedure? i don't like the cmd-name /straight as it's not intuitive - I'd wonder why it snaps to certain angles. snap on the other hand doesn't contain information what snaps. Thus I'd prefer /snapline alias sl, /linesnap alias ...

10 promotions/month suggest a different promotion procedure than today with significantly lower requirements. Thus I suggest to break the former archs down to Pema and Nessy or does that exclude somebody whose name definetly belongs into such a list?

use an image hoster, copy the BBCode and paste it in your post. If you're using large or many images, hide them as well! In that case the code for your pictures should look like this:Yildiz70 wrote:How can i post my image on this Forum? / post?

Go for it, we're a bit spacially tight for names though :/, maybe add another layer to the wall? We've recently got an arch spawnworld where the names of all current architects are written down. Imo it'd be a good idea to add the names of former architects as well. I'm curious which red names have been blue ones before. Atm I'm only aware of Pemalite who has been an architect before getting his...

@Hit-Girl: I'm currently planning the eastern corner of my current build and I'd like to slightly exceed the boundaries you've suggested. I'm basicly asking to frame the hole next to the red box. The edges of the outer dimension are marked with netherbrick pillars, if you want to take a look at it. ...

it wasn't refered to any of your builds. The highrise blocking your view just didn't look like one of Pemas builds. I doubt that we'll ever see the day Pema draws a straight horizontal line for one of his buildings - I'm sure fragmer replaced his /line method with /spline

I've never seen you ingame, but judging from the pictures: good stuff!
Some of your builds show that you're suffering from the tight builderworld height restrictions. I can't wait to see some upscaled and thus even more detailed builds made by you in the future. Good luck with your application!
