Smp Griefers

I guess you didn't understand, This is temporary and you shouldn't get so attached to it. White listing it now is like stupid. If a white list should of happened, It should of happened when the server was started.

Anyways: Stop making a thread about the same thing over and over again.

Also, read this post by me:

http://forum.fcraft.net/viewtopic.php?f ... 2265#p2265

We are on a temp world, I don't care about griefing and robbing. When we are running a proper world we will find ways to catch griefers or prevent griefing (the /acceptrules plugin did that partially for instance).

Whitelisting is not an option from my perspective.

nononono You didn't get what i meant.
I meant whitelist it when the permanat
map comes up so we could avoid griefers
and robbers before they actually grief or
rob

Apparently YOU didn't read what I wrote. I wrote NO WHITELISTING. ;-)

But, and think with me here, maybe we could, when the permanent map is up, add something like a whitelist, so as to avoid griefers and robbers?

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of a whitelist - does anybody have a better idea? I don't think it was mentioned yet.

Maybe a blacklist? some type of list?
Some magic plugin? I don't know, There's endless possibilities with Bukkit(some don't work sadly)
None the less, Why close the doors to be able to expand the community? Yes, There will be grief and trolls and whatever. But we'll have moderators (OP+ maybe?) with commands that will help us move on and deal with the 'drama' these kids create.

Wait...

Didn't we used to have a BlockTrack and a RollBack plugin on SMP in the past ??

Then whitelist is useless :P

Exactly, There can be plugins that revert grief and obviously BAN players who just disperse the rules that were placed.

Whitelisting isn't really needed.

I don't know - I have always been against new maps, so let's just stick with the whitelist idea.
