Mars Rover

For those who aren't aware, NASA has been working on sending a rover to Mars and in ~6 hours, if everything goes according to plan, it will land. Sure, not quite as exciting as having people physically walking on Mars, but still, pretty big fucking deal. For those who want a countdown to when the rover should land, click here.

Curiosity successfully landed at 05:32 AM UTC on August 6th, 2012. These images were the first Hi-Res photos received. Absolutely epic.
