New Avatars and Whatnot!

Post by ultimatemegaman »

Well, as you can see, my avatar is finished and the pixel limit reduced the quality by WAY.
Could something be done about this?
I used Paint by the way.

The pixel limit is the pixel limit. If we were to go more than, say, 20 pixels bigger, it would break the theme. Even if that were not the case, we don't want huge honking avatars littering the forums. Redesign your avatar.

Use the scaling feature in paint as well. Don't just grab a corner marker and re-scale using that.

Actually, I did use the scaling feature, as most of the sprites I got of the ponies were too big to fit on the avatar. I ended up scaling them down to 70% by 70% of the original image and removing checkered stuff.

The final result had to be reduced in size by 80% by 80% afterwards, as it went 148 pixels along... :x

Then as Haf said, you need to redesign it. It's apparently too big to even scale
