A better forum style/theme

Post by PyroPyro »

So I've been thinking about making this thread for sometime now, our current forum style/theme is simple and good... but I still think that we need a better (as in more fCraft'y) style/theme. Some people said they will make one like shankd0g, Astelyn, Hit-Girl and me but none of us finished our work due to lack of knowledge, interest, creativity, or free time. So now i'm making this post to see if someone is willing to give it a shot. I don't know if the owners will use the theme, it's up to them. but i guess if they like it they will use it as a default forum style/theme.

We all had our ideas, i will share mine. I wanted to make a minimalistic simple style/theme to go with fCraft.net using #666 and #F60 also the background fCraft.net/cubes.png. For the header i wanted to use the fCraft logo with text "Official fCraft community and software forums" since this forum is not just for "server software" as it says now.

Just don't make it

a) too image heavy
b) have text on images
c) be dark
d) be too Minecraft-oriented

^ That. It seems that all Minecraft-related forums/sites suffer from those 4 things. Thank you Lim-Dul for posting that.

The theme is OK apart from the font choices. :P
