I personally enjoy the idea of anarchy. I think not having a system is sometimes better than having a system at all. I understand that total anarchy is impossible to achieve unless you're in a utopian society (also impossible), but I can't say having a political machine that denies people basic rights in the name of their own protection is such a great thing. Also I am Anarchist, not Nihilist. It always amazes me how often people mix up the two when they really are completely different things.

"proposed law"

Not seeing this passing at all. They will claim its discrimination and it won't make it any farther.

Even if it does, I don't seeing it being applied or the situation popping up that often if it all. Unless the employer is some radical religious extremist that for some reason sees using a pill to prevent an unwanted child that will probably be aborted so the woman can fulfill her body's needs as "sinful", it won't play a major role. Employers usually don't involve themselves in this part of an employee's life. They want people that are extremely efficient and cheap.

And I hardly see a single proposed law turning America into a Christian fundamentalist warmongering police state. XD

This is awesome. Just found this:

Proposed Amendment 28:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States .

Well, we have relatively mainstream Christians fighting for the "right" of an employer to pick and choose what healthcare to provide to their employees based on the employer's personal morals.

This kind of shit may just start passing if we get a republican president and more repubs in the senate.

Maybe at most allowing the power to those actually in ownership of the company. Not those that are employed by the company and just have a managerial position.

I dont get the point of this thread; is it to belittle America with biased media and conspiracy theories?
