When there is a prefix of the sign '#' on a player, in the IRC you are able to join the the 'channel' with the player name, IRC reads it to be a channel.

This is due to irc clients this can't really be fixed without spacing the hash from the username and I honestly see no need for it to be changed.

That will happen with anything you see in your IRC client prefixed with a hash. There's probably a setting somewhere in your client to disable it if it bothers you.

That's just how IRC works. Any word that starts with a hash is treated as a channel name. I can't/won't do anything about it.
