Community Halloween Project

Recently I've been talking with some other members of the community, and we believe it would be a cool project to make a giant Halloween scene on CMP.

Basically the concept is to make a giant Halloween themed scene! (Duh)

A giant Grim Reaper or Headless Horseman will be the centerpiece with other scenic objects like tombstones, dead trees, pumpkins, etc etc.

In the end, I would like to film it to promote our CMP server. It's something quite simple that has a possibility of drawing in some more players. We may even be able to set it up as the spawn if it's the correct size.

It'll take a lot of effort and some decent builders to pull off though. Even if you aren't the best builder, feel free to help with something like a tree or tombstone. This IS a community build and I don't want to give the impression that this build is only for our best. The more that volunteer, the quicker we can finish it and the more detail we can add.

Let me know what you guys think as soon as possible since time is obviously short and limited.

An end world would be much better than the nether. I'd also like to replace the ground with something like soulsand (which can be done easily).

Project is a light.

The design I came up with that a couple others seemed to like was a nicely designed graveyard.

Ollie will generate us an end world which we'll use the island to build on.

The main centerpiece will be a large Grim reaper that I will work on (anyone else with some organic background is welcome to help out) hovering, standing, or flying over a nicely designed tombstone with some intricate designs such as a dragon head.

There will be a demonic castle on a floating platform in the sky as well. Something I had in mind that can be simplified for time constraints is this:

If anyone else has any reference pics they like, post them here or send them to me personally.

There are some other details required such as dead trees, jack'o'lanterns, and other tombstones I would like as well. A hand rising out of the ground in front of one of the tombstones would be neat.

Anyways, give me a shout out on something you'd possibly want to work on and I'll give you some basic instructions of where to make it and I'll let you go at it.
