It seems I accidentally reset the website passwords for all servers, but the 3 latest ones.
To set a new password IRC ops can PM me with !passreset #channel
If no IRC operators can be reached and you need to change something, contact me.
No need to rush or worry, only I can access the reset accounts.


!english can now be disabled for servers that allow other languages than English in chat.
To do this tick the "Multilanguage/Non-English server" in website config.

ps: smp.dankirk.gov isn't a IP, its a HOST that translates into a IP.

'hidden' players that chat, are not hidden for dankirk.

A new page/feature for the bot's website:

There's a "Custom Rules" page that lets server's higher ranks (trustee+ for fCraft) add custom replies for the bot. You'll need to know "regular expressions" to use it to it's full potential.

A performance check will be done for all the custom expressions to verify they can be used efficiently.

Regrettably this would be pretty annoying for the people on the IRC channel, since most clients will "ping" (make the window flash or play a sound) when the users nickname is mentioned.

Been a while since last update, but here's something.

Dankirk can now identify server's bridge bot(s) on IRC from their registered/authed names. This brings some additional security.
I already added the auth names for all servers that already had their bot registered.

In custom replies you can now use some variables: $nick, $rank, $nextrank, $players, $ircnames.
All custom reply regexes are now case insensitive by default. This helps setting up new replies for those that aren't familiar with regular expressions.


I guess the next thing I'm going to work on is support for other server software with different message formats. Namely Tekkit/CMP/SMP.


Scoot also contacted me on the matter of making fCraft have an API for stuff like Dankirk.
If this were to become reality, I'd then have a ton of new tools in my hand to work with. I'd be able to tell more detailed and accurate stuff related to the server. There's still long way for that, but let's see how that goes.
