Platinum Moon merger information & welcome thread

Introduction
Platinum Moon is a Minecraft community founded by two fCraft.net players, K_Story and Sukinorules. There has always been overlap between two communities — many fCraft players played there, and many PM players playerd here.

Platinum Moon server has gone offline a couple weeks ago, when its original owners ran out of resources and time to maintain it. I offered to merge the two communities. As part of the merger, many Platinum Moon Freebuild maps will be hosted at fCraft.net Freebuild, all PM players will be ranked to match their prior experience/responsibilities, and players' stats from the two servers will be combined.

So this week, we welcome Platinum Moon players to fCraft.net!

@Platinum Moon players: Welcome! Please check out our rules and guidelines, which may be slightly different from Platinum Moon. Take a look around our old maps. Make a forum account, introduce yourself, make yourself at home!

@fCraft players: Take a look around the new maps (listed below). There are many very impressive builds! Please say hello to the newcomers, if you see them, and share any tips you've got.

@All players: If have comments/suggestions/concerns about this merge, please reply to this thread or send me a private message.

  • k_story — Founder and owner of Platinum Moon. Previously ranked veteran on fCraft.net, who could easily go for architect rank. Built Fluttershy on our ponymain map, among other things. Also known as Kei.
  • RedBluePaint — Co-owner of Platinum moon. Creates terrific builds, and stands out amongst PM's staff.
  • Skinnygamer — Co-owner of Platinum moon, previously ranked mason here (and going on architect). Builds all kinds of architecture and pixelart. Special thanks to Skinny for facilitating this merge.
  • Sukinorules — Founder and owner of Platinum Moon, also previously ranked veteran on fCraft.net. Builds lots of ponies and dragons. Draws really well too!

  • LeftPenguin — Admin on PM, previously veteran here. Creates very unique architecture. Stands out amongst PM's staff.
  • nanner — Trainee on PM, previously mason here. One of the most capable staff in PM. Builds terrific architecture.

Unfortunately, a few people did not get a new rank, because they got themselves banned or demoted on fCraft.net previously. Fortunately, there are only a handful of such people. Their bans have been lifted, as a gesture of goodwill, but they are not eligible for promotion.

Just if anyone had a question about the Honoured rank, allow me to clear it up. Honoured was a rank for all ex-staff Platinum Moon members, and anyone else we deemed special whom needed to be honored. (Such as some fCraft staff members.) Hopefully this helps your understanding of the rank. ~Skinny :D
