So what you're saying is that your internet bugs out most of the time, yet you can download a 6.4 GB torrent or so?

You ruined the fun. I was waiting for someone to get all cocky and be like 'your post isn't relevant either' then I could of whipped out a troll comment.
Also, Trolls really are nothing compared with the Giants who literally kick-ass.

Giants can 1 hit almost all of the time. Also don't try and melee a mammoth. Those fuckers are angry.

Lol, I really found no reason to post back saying it was irrelevant.
On Topic: Heading to a friends tonight to see what it's all about. So far all I've seen is that it looks beautiful. That's all I see now.

Instead, find yourself a bridge, kite a mammoth to the vicinity of the structure and farm your ranged spells/archery skills - they're lumps of walking copious mountains of experience.

Time to super-nitpick: I'm disappointed with some of the features that have been carried over from Oblivion and FO3 like fast-travelling anywhere, closed cities, and objective markers. Cities are a little small and seem a bit sparsely populated. And i'm still sorely missing levitation. Overall it feels a bit dumbed-down in relation to Morrowind, for example the decrease in the sheer amount of types of weapons, spells, skills, abilities etc.
But i'm very pleased with how fluid combat feels, and for the first time in a game I feel compelled to use magic. I'm a dark elf battlemage, mainly using lightning, restoration and war axes. Music is damn awesome, was pleasantly surprised to hear a Morrowind track played in Whiterun. Visuals are great as expected. Story is gripping and everything feels much darker than before, hearing of the invasion of Cyrodiil, destruction in Morrowind, lots of provinces breaking away.

Aww I picked the wrong time to stop being a mage

Oh well. Archers ftw. I always liked fast-travel as an option. The pros outweigh the cons and at the end of the day it's an option. I often elect to walk places because you can't discover locations along the way. I especially liked the fact that I couldn't fast travel to all the major cities upon starting the game (like in Oblivion) and I ignored carriages so I ran everywhere. Killed many-a wolf and got fucked up by many-a Ice Wraith in the north.
I agree with you on the dumbed down bit, however, I REALLY like the new menu system. That was something they were excited about and many don't like it, likening it to trying to get a younger, simpler audience to enjoy the game also, but the map interface is so fantastic and makes me feel really in the game, and the level up menu is really pretty. The Item sub-menu system is so much better than Oblivion. I like to be one organized motherfucker. I just want the same thing for in my storage chest in my home. It seems to appear in no rational order and that really annoys me when I'm trying to find a specific item in the kind-of-but-still-not alphabetical order list.

Just had a glitchy dragon moment; fast-travelled to some cave for a mission and a dragon dropped right on me, and it died after one swipe. Then another one came down, but this time it was a normal fight, in that it took more than one hit to take down... oh well, 2 dragon souls in the space of 2 minutes. Now just need to find some more words as I have 3 spare souls.

Just watched an NPC fly off into nowhere after being hit by a giant dead on. Don't worry i found him 15 minutes later in the mountains.

Oh that's happened to me lots of times... just give a giant a funny look and he'll give you a one-way trip from Solitude to Sadrith Mora.

Anyhow, Skyrim. Game is very fun, menus/interface is complete shit. Can't wait on the Darnified UI mod to come to Skyrim.

Actually, Draconic (or whatever you want to call it) has no tense. Probably a side effect of the fact that the ones who created the language don't experience time as denizens of Nirn do.

Whats it do? I've only found useless enchanted (heavy) armor, like dwarven armor of greater alteration. What freakin mage wears heavy armor, and what kind of warrior uses alteration.

Just disenchant it for enchantment value.

I play battlemage, so heavy armour with a restoration in left hand and an axe or destruction in right hand, sometimes dual destruction.
Eminent Wielding is +30% damage on one handed weapons (note not a skill point boost)
I guess it might've made more sense to go for magic resistance instead of heavy armour but whatever, I like the look of the armours.
