I think we need a map for the 10th anniversary of 9/11/01 and remember all the troops that have fallen for the United States in the years. On the map we could recreate what happened in memory of all the 2,977 people who lost their lives that day.



I think for now all vets+ should be able to work on a recreation of a day that shook Americas history I also would like to add kkmunchmunch700 as he made a remembering 9/11 sign on the server

I presume the building will take some time.. Maybe 2 weeks or so

It's good intentioned and all, but you're literally proposing a project identical to one that already exists in a finished state...

Maybe we could copy and paste the finished world trade centre into main as the spawn point on 9/11? That could work out a bit better.

Fyi, the worldtradecenter world is 512x512x512. I don't think one tower is small enough for a spawn.

I do not think this is a good idea. A banner, mehg, if you insist. A whole world/spawn/theme, please don't.

Besides most people that attend our server were two years old at the time. I hate people who get some sense of pride from horrific events, especially if they don't really have any connection besides speaking the same language.

I've got a better idea:

Build the WTC Towers in SMP
Load the Planes mod
Ask someone to film you crashing into them(while dropping a bomb to cause an explosion)
Upload it to YouTube
Troll the shit out of the Anniversary

It's also sad that that's exactly what 3/4 of our guests are going to be like. I can see the burning towers with HAHAHAHAH written around it in main now

I remember that, I was in school and when it happened, the only thing we did was have a 1 minute of silence.
