1.8 Can't access server?

Have we updated the server to 1.8 official yet? I'm unable to connect to anyone's server (even my suitemate) so I'm wondering if it's me or everyone.

Try connecting to **.**.***.*** I can verify that this server working.
Our server does indeed appear to be down, I presume its not been upgraded yet.
If you're still having troubles connecting the only advice I can provide you with is to do a complete re-install of Minecraft. Make sure you backup your worlds.
Updated: Our server is now working again: smp.fcraft.net:25565

I can see that one. I was just a little freaked out when fcraft and my suitemate both didn't work.

Check your ports. If you had been on 1.8 prerelease, it was using the port 25566 - the current vanilla server is back on the default port, so you don't need to enter anything apart from smp.fcraft.net.

Always tells me 'Can't reach server', is the SMP on 1.8 or 1.8.1?

1.8.1 - if you have the server in the address list, remove it and re-add it with smp.fcraft.net. Most likely your ports are screwed up.
Update: Oh, and apparently our map got corrupted. Tough luck. Wiped it. :-P

Silly corrupted maps.
Also, we will release the proper map when Notch stops making us need to regenerate maps. The same shit is going to happen for 1.9 probably. Also, we are waiting, as is a lot of other people, for a recommended craftbukkit build. Even then we won't have all the plugins we need, so nothing we can do to hurry things up.
