I find it really annoying to count all the blocks in a line to find out where to center something... Or how I shud spread out things like patterns (place block; skip2; place block) like that...well maybe we need a command /ruler which will mark the center block or blocks if the line is even... Plz let me know thnks

Just use /measure.
