Is it possible to make deafen only hide chat from players and not hide your commands?

i use deafen allot and when using cmds, i sometimes have to turn it off then turn it back on to make sure i didn't mess up a cmd or whatever. nice idea

Or maybe make the option to turn it on. Because sometimes when I'm static pasting I deafen my screen to avoid text spam. Also, since I'm here. You should make it so we also have the option to receive pm's while we're in /deafen just in case of an emergency or you're having a conversation with someone.

/deafen that shows just staff chat & PMs & cmd's, like maybe /deafenpm or /dpm. then that could also be another thing going with what king said. /deafencmd or /dcmd, excludes cmd's. or even the normal /deafen should have it. i don't see myself typing in cmd's while taking screenshot's lol that's what I'd use /deafen for anyway.

When I use deafen I want it to mute everything. Instead, what about making it possible to use wildcarding on ignore? /ignore * and /unignore *
