Steve Jobs passed away today (as seen on Apple.com)

I wonder what Bill Gates is thinking right now...

And now... Apple will go into bankruptcy and there will be no more Apple products. :creeper:

Stocks fell %5 when steve jobs resigned this august. I really don't predict a zomg bankruptcy because of his passing away. The company is being run by competent people now.

His death is before the release of the new iPhone4s so i don't think there will be a dramatic decrease in shares.

Though only time will tell.

Do you really think the predicted first TRILLION dollar company will go bankrupt because the creator died. But terrible timing. The day after the iPhone 4S is announced :(

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there.
And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it.

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away.

Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
Don't be trapped by dogma -- which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Everything else is secondary.
Steve jobs words...

Was that the guy who programmed UNIX? Because the news didn't seem to care about an honest man. But when it comes to an Arab sweatshop owner who's ideas came from his co-workers along with the design... billions worship the man. No wonder the world is wrong.

No only unix, but co-founder (1 of 2) of C!

And as 90% of the stuff we have now in our world runs on that.
I'm not only talking about windows, linux, andriod, unix, etc etc.
But also shitload of embeded systems like mircowaves, televisions, cars, airplains, printers etc etc.

If your 'live work' was gone with you when you die? We would be back in the stone age!

And stefe... hmmm no more overprized telephones and computers. Altho all computers/telephones would look like shit tho :).

I was thinking about going and writing about the lack of attention of DMR's death on one of those post-it notes everyone seems to be putting on apple stores' windows, but it was raining and they probably took them all down the day after jobs' death.
