/virtualkick against kick evaders

I've had people avoid kicks on me a few times. Tehy log off at the moment you were gonna kick them.
This is annoying, and also, with one kick less on their /info it takes them longer to get banned (if they continue) and they will do more grief.
So I thought up a /virtualkick [playername] [reason] to "kick" offline players. It doesn't actually kick them but adds to the kick counter and displays the reason.
Example:

Code: Select all

/virtualkick gamesaucer griefing warned
This would display in chat:
#fragmer virtually kicked gamesaucer for reason: griefing warned
And in my info:
Last kick by #fragmer 15m ago (virtual). Reason: griefing warned
This would implement a way to "warn" offline people, and send a signal to other people that that person has been kicked before.

My idea was to let it have the same limitations as /kick (Example: vets can't kick OPs), and let it be usable by vet+, although that's for the server owners to decide, not for me.

Thanks,
Gamesaucer

I don't know why any staff on any server would allow non staff members to add kicks to people's account. We sure won't use it

Isn't minecraft already virtual?

So kicks/bans are virtually sent to your computer and your kick/ban'ed from the server.

Profit.

I rather have a /note system.

/note <player> <note> thats shows in info

So you can also do stuff like
/note boblol0909 Warned for griefing.
and for this use
/note boblol0909 Left while frozen after warning of spleefing.

Only shows in /info with eneugh rights ofc.
Player intertoothh last seen 5 mins ago.
etc etc etc.
Notes:
#2 12-11-11 14:35: Hit_girl noted: "Oops wrong player"
#1 12-11-11 14:33: Hit_girl noted: "What a ass"

Altho fragmer wont like this in the current database..

I believe fragmer mentioned something about a /note or /warn system a little while back.
Also, it isn't possible for one to evade kick unless you're freezing them before doing so which is just a waste of your own time.

Note I mean freezing then straight after kicking, I do not mean freezing in general.

True, but some people just leave when you freeze them for a warning.
Thuss, getting away with it more often if they come back again some days later.

If you leave frozen you will come back frozen, so the people on-line will know you did something wrong.

Aye, but that isn't what he stated thus I didn't bother going into that.
A /warn command of some description would be very beneficial here methinks.
