An option to make staff chat static.
Perhaps is message = null, staff chat is turned on / off. If there is a message, it will send like it normally would?

another good idea, I'm not sure what you mean about the null etc but it would be nice to have a /deafen with just staff chat & PMs, like maybe /deafenpm or /dpm. going with what jonty said tho its quit easy to type /st. and when you do it a couple times you don't even see yourself doing it anymore its so easy. so a static for this wouldn't seem plausible or even worth it. like i dont even see myself just using staff chat, 80% normal chat, 10% staff chat, 5% @@pm, and 5% @pm. although I'm not a higher rank that ignores people, like most trustee+ do.
maybe even a /deafen (rank) so it either deafens those of lower ranks of the input rank. just some more ideas on the deafen cmd.

Liam, the deafen improvements is in another suggestion/thread.
What he means, is simply the option to turn staff chat on/off, so you don't need to type '/st' infront of every message, if you, for example, is having a staff conversation with someone.

A other (might need a new topic?) improvement maybe to staff chat.
Staff-chat history.
When i'm moderationg my screen is filled with /whodid and /info and /patrol messages
Often i dont get the whole conversation on stuff, and have to ask whats it about.
With a /staffhist 20 To repeat the last 20 /staff chats.. would be wonderfull!

i meant i understand that if you wanted to use it you could but if you didn't then you don't have to, but I've never seen someone just talk in staff chat, or blanked out in midst of someone doing it. :3
if it becomes a cmd, ill never use it lol
Want me to move my deafen to the deafen topic bob? - only if you say yes cuz im too lazy

Sure, if you want :S
Anyway, it's not that you HAVE to turn it on before talking.
You may use /st message as usual, but the OPTION to make it static would be a good thing.
Therefor, if message == null, which means you type /st, it would turn itself on, which sends all messages to staff chat. If you do that again, it would turn off.
You may still use /st message as usual.

Are you staff?
Staff members use this way more often...
I've thought of this several times.

I've been staff for more than a few days lol i think 17 days idk and I'm on every single day. AND i use staff chat allot. but like i said before, it is a useful idea but when it comes down to it, i wouldnt use the cmd. others may. Although jonty has some great ideas, kind of like the /warn. i dont know who put that into 800craft but
