Hey Guys,

im Marco alias ShadowSkeleton. In my holliedays i visit a very pretty and gigantic castle. Its called "Neuschwanenstein" and it is in the south of germany. From the moment i saw it, i only want to build it in minecraft. Now i have a team out of 12 additional Members, who want to help me:

I think i can get more members, but for the moment i think its enought.

When i get this map i would post all my many pictures online, that i made, so that we can build it exactly like the original. I hope, we can get a map to build this giant projekt.

I prefers a size of 512x512x256, when its possible, and I think we need ca. 1 to 2 weeks for it.

Where do all you people suggesting a project get your time estimates from? Past experience? A hat?

Some plans can be found as well on the internets to help you build to scale.

a nice sensible application, something with plans which are easy to find and to follow. Shouldn't take too long which is good so people wont lose interest. A couple of dedicated people and you'll have that thing done in a fortnight or less. Good luck to you sirs.

I would be willing to help if needed (or allowed). I think i'm visiting this castle next year so i'm interested to see what it looks like and it would be pretty cool to actually build it.
Edit: i am visiting this castle next year, if i cant help i would enjoy seeing it after its finished as well.

check that site out has alot of pictures on it that might help also theres the floorplans and plans for making it with legos

Alright I made this map. I do ask that you reconsider the size as you plan things out. It looks like 256*512*256 might hold it.

the sissy castle of the sissy king. If the Prussians grab for your kingdom - what else to do but building a fary-tale castle in the middle of nowhere?
An interesting project, though it might be hard to add enough detail with the 512x512 size restriction. I offer you my help.

I know you don't know me very well, but I offer my help in this construction. I always enjoy building great castles and such and I think it will be great! Will you accept me into your crew?

What should we do, a map with a size of 1024x512x512? that will only crash the game.

The scale: 1 block = 0.5 meter
The castle is 200m long (414 blocks) and 65m high (130 blocks).

OK, i think we can start with this informations. Let's build it.

That REALLY hurts! I am NOT a griefer! I despise grief. Info me of you want my ban info(JaffaMiner). Also I am now unbanned and back in business. I hate griefers infact, and you calling me one makes me sad . Plus one of my appeals was for an unfair IRC ban with no reason, but that is revoked as well. Again I am NOT a griefer and I would never destroy anyone's anything. Reconsider please?

Well when I joined Neuschwanenstein I noticed I couldn'y build in it so I couldn't do anything. I'm requesting a whitlelist so I can help. Thanks

can i be apart if this team as it looks really nice, but i think wunds is right the detail may be abit harder because of the size of map , but YEAH!
