Running on OSX Lion, everything updated, and this is the error I get.

11:42:44 AM > IPBanList.Load: Done loading IP ban list (290 records).
11:42:44 AM > CommandManager: 121 commands registered (5 hidden, 97 aliases)

11:42:45 AM > IPBanList.Save: Saving IP ban list (290 records).

Any way to stop this from happening?

You could try downloading a fresh fCraft, and putting your old configuration files/maps in it. Your backup utility seems to be broken.

So essentially, I'm suggesting to replace the .exe s and the .dll s

Already tried that, and it still throws up the same error. I can run a fresh server just fine, but replacing the exes and dlls on the current one doesn't work.

Solved this, playerDB got messed up so replacing it with a backup caused everything to work.

I had the same problem !

Go to PlayerDB => Is it clear ? (by me was it clear complete)

Open last Backup of PlayerDb and it must work :)
