When: 30+ weeks ago; about an hour ago.
Who: Intertoothh, on both occasions.
Reason Given: Flaming; none.

Righto, so what happened is this: I came along and started being a douchebag a few days after 'the split'. I got a straight-up ban instead of a mute, which I personally believe was rather excessive. Most people probably know this by now.

So I started to come back and lurk IRC from time to time, reading and seeing what happened here, getting into the odd conversation. Telling someone something they wanted to know. General this and that, as many people do on IRC. Well, I stopped this for a while. Came back earlier today, ran around on SMP a bit (I recently grabbed it), punched rwojy and desosus in an arena for a bit, ran around getting savagely murdered (and murdering) hitgirl and rwojy multiple times. I then hop onto the IRC channel again, talking to people here and there, getting into conversations and basically doing what I described before.

Had a couple of LoL games, head back to IRC. Talk more. Then intertoothh hops on, accuses me of ban evasion because of being on the IRC channel, tells me I'm spamming IRC chat (Which I most certainly wasn't) and basically jumped the gun with another ban to my name.

Feeling particularly irritated at this turn of events, I hopped back onto the IRC by switching IP's. Granted, I probably should've appealed right then and there, but I've not exactly been known for my calm-headedness when I think someone's wronged me. So I went there and asked intertoothh for a ban reason. He gave me none, and told me to appeal, banned me again. So I switched IP's again, got banned once more after a similar attempt at questioning his ban reasons.

I wasn't planning to appeal my ingame ban. But, according to inter and several others, in-game bans supposedly extend to the IRC as well. I believe this -may- have been the reasoning for which intertoothh IRC-banned me. I was also not overly polite, though not rude either, in the way that I addressed him after he became confrontational.

The reason I'd like an unban is because I believe that the bans themselves were unjust. I realize switching IP's probably wouldn't've helped this appeal terribly much, and I honestly don't see this appeal going anywhere, despite others' assurances.

I know I'm going to get completely shut down here, and I know that intertoothh is going to strut in and say "you shouldn't've gone back to IRC, shouldn't've argued with an op about your ban, shouldn't've dodged your IRC ban". It's a little obvious; any op's done it before. I just feel as though inter had some sort of bias towards me from the very start, and that both the initial and IRC bans were a touch premature.

The only reason I came back to the IRC channel was to talk to and catch up with people who I hadn't spoken to in months, and to get some interesting conversation on an otherwise boring evening. Then this happened.

I don't think there's much else to say; I suppose it's all up to intertoothh now.

Chat bans also re-direct to the IRC. Just leave the IRC as well, because you dug yourself into a deep hole. Intertoothh was being himself, fixing everything up. You can't even capitalize his name correctly. That's not something you do everyday, that's like an arrow in the knee. Plus, you insulted my Grammar Nazi'ing skills. You deserve more than a chat ban, bro. I see that shovel that you used to dig it, and Intertoothh's fingerprints are NOT on it.

If you agree to 'tune down' a bit on the flame and trolling, i'll accept your appeal on the bans.

Okay, so. You're telling me that because your feelings got hurt after I said that you constantly correcting everyone was excessive and annoying, (which, from what I hear, is a pretty common perspective) you're going to try and condemn me for it? Intertoothh's "fixing everything up" had absolutely nothing to do with you; you weren't involved at all.

So you've got this extended metaphor I typed up after my first IRC evasion today, and what I meant by it was that intertoothh constantly banned me rather than letting me speak. I also mentioned, in case you forgot how to read in your flurry of grammatical correction, that I was climbing out of said "hole in the ground" in the wrong manner by evading rather than appealing.

Also, might I ask, why are you even posting in this thread?
